Graduates earn 839 degrees, certificates from Trinidad State Junior College

About 22.4 percent of the 839 degrees and certificates handed out by the Trinidad State Junior College in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them some of the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Trinidad conferred 154 certificates and 34 associate's degrees in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.

But the single most popular program was for a certificate in Lineworker. Data shows the school gave out 97 certificates in Lineworker, followed by 94 certificates in Nursing Assistant/Aide and Patient Care Assistant/Aide and 94 associate's degrees in General Studies.

The college enrolled 1,654 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
