Graduates earn 1,381 degrees, certificates from Colorado Mountain College

About 31.9 percent of the 1,381 degrees and certificates handed out by the Colorado Mountain College in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Springs conferred 356 certificates and 67 associate's degrees in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.

But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies. Data shows the school gave out 251 associate's degrees in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies, followed by 186 certificates in Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic) and 124 certificates in Nursing Assistant/Aide and Patient Care Assistant/Aide.

The college enrolled 5,806 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
