About 19 percent of the 856 degrees and certificates handed out by the Colorado State University-Pueblo in 2016-17 were to students in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Pueblo conferred 129 bachelor's degrees and 34 master's degrees in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs.
But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Data shows the school gave out 97 bachelor's degrees in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse, followed by 89 bachelor's degrees in Business/Commerce, General and 82 bachelor's degrees in Sociology.
The university enrolled 7,802 students for 2016-17, including 5,024 in undergraduate programs and 2,778 in graduate programs.
