About 59.6 percent of the 265 degrees and certificates handed out by the IBMC College in 2016-17 were to students in Personal and Culinary Services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Collins conferred 158 certificates in Personal and Culinary Services programs.
But the single most popular program was for a certificate in Cosmetology/Cosmetologist, General. Data shows the school gave out 108 certificates in Cosmetology/Cosmetologist, General, followed by 38 certificates in Aesthetician/Esthetician and Skin Care Specialist and 26 associate's degrees in Medical/Clinical Assistant.
The college enrolled 450 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
