Tuition and fees fell 12.4 percent for 2017-18 at Cheeks International Academy of Beauty Culture-Fort Collins, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
Colorado students paid $14,900 to attend the private for-profit school this year $2,100 less than the $17,000 charged for 2016-17.
Data shows 90 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 28 students received grants or scholarships totaling $134,700 and 26 students took out student loans totaling more than $128,900.
Including all undergraduates, 34 students used grants or scholarships totaling $178,500. Another 32 took out $222,250 in federal student loans.
