Graduates earn 1,379 degrees, certificates from Colorado Mountain College


About 28.7 percent of the 1,379 degrees and certificates handed out by Colorado Mountain College in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Springs conferred 295 certificates and 73 associate's degrees in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in liberal arts and sciences/liberal studies. Data shows the school gave out 252 associate's degrees in liberal arts and sciences/liberal studies, followed by 166 certificates in emergency medical technology/technician (emt paramedic) and 79 certificates in nursing assistant/aide and patient care assistant/aide.

The college enrolled 5,934 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
