59 percent of applicants to Metropolitan State University of Denver were admitted for fall 2018

The four-year public institution in Denver enrolled 20,192 students in fall 2018, including 19,437 in undergraduate and 755 in graduate programs, data shows. 13.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

98 percent of undergraduates are residents of Colorado, and 2 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (51 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (29 percent).

The school admitted 59 percent of the 13,454 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 30 percent enrolled.
