24 percent of applicants to the Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology were admitted for fall 2018


At the Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology, 42 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 93 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The two-year private for-profit institution in Denver enrolled 275 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 17.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

58 percent of undergraduates are residents of Colorado, and 38 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (76 percent) and two or more races (11 percent).

The school admitted 24 percent of the 265 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 95 percent enrolled.
