Cost of college went up for all students at Delta Montrose Technical College


Tuition and fees rose 9.6 percent for 2018-19 at Delta Montrose Technical College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Colorado students paid $9,595 to attend the two-year public institution this year – $842 more than the $8,753 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 78 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 35 students received grants or scholarships totaling $136,197 and 17 students took out student loans totaling more than $90,224.

Including all undergraduates (182), 81 students used grants or scholarships totaling $401,580, and 65 students took out $390,490 in federal student loans.
