West Yuma County Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Nov. 7.

It’s been a little bit since we had a Featured Business Friday! This week we are going to feature the incredible Spa 34! There are few things as relaxing and peaceful as a quality massage, and Spa 34 has worked hard to ensure residents of Yuma are able to enjoy just that. Keep reading to learn more about this wonderful business and the woman behind it.

About Spa 34

Spa 34 is a small business that was started roughly eight years ago by Becky Guy. The initial office was in the Quintech, right here in Yuma. After two years of calling the Quintech home, Spa 34 expanded and moved to The Home Place on main street. After five years, Becky realized that it was time for more space so that she could really bring her vision to life. At this time, Spa 34 moved to its current residence on the intersection of 8th Avenue and Highway 34. Ever since that move, Spa 34 has grown significantly in terms of customers and services, but Becky’s dreams for her business only continue to develop.

“I’m trying to add new things and figure out what it is that people want for a spa setting in this town, so that I can keep it more local.”

Becky Guy, the owner of Spa 34, has lived in Yuma for her entire life. After graduating in 2010, she moved to Aurora and attended The Denver School of Massage Therapy. When she graduated in 2011, she was ready to move back and get started working. Knowing that the goal was always to move back to Yuma, she looked for a business that this town needed. As someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, a mini-spa felt like a great addition to the town, and we couldn’t agree more!

“I love working with all of my clients and meeting new ones!”

If you haven’t already met Becky or taken advantage of the massage services she offers, it’s time to change that!
